Nepal army khukuri

The size is similar to Nepal army khukuri but the shape of the blade is alike to Bhojpuri khukuri. As everyone knows that the Khukuri or kukri is the National Weapon of Nepal and not to use by Nepal Police and Armed Police Force is out of the question. The Nepal Police khukuri or kukri is preferably made by Rosewood Handle and the blade is slightly broader than the Nepal Army Issue. This Nepal Police khukuri has the cross khukuri insignia at the end cap of the handle to distinguish themselves as Nepal Police Force.
All Khukuris have two pockets on the back of the scabbard which hold a blunt steel called “chakmak” for sharpening the blade or for striking spark from flint and a little knife known as “karda” used for skinning small animals such as rabbits. The notch (Kaura or kaudi) in the blade near the hilt of most khukuri serves as the conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt, as well as a device for catching and neutralizing and enemy blade. This kukri is the most popular kukri. Nepal police khukuri is a part of a uniform that is carried by them. The Nepal army khukuri is known all over the world. this khukuri is given as a gift for the friends of the family as it represents the history or it represents the Nepal army.
The khukuri shows the history of Nepal so, it has been involved in the uniform in many Army instituted. These khukuri has a simple style in the khukuri blade, even the handle is made with the simple design of the handle.
